Newz Forum: FOOTBALL: Raiders find their Coach in Payton

League sources emphasized on Tuesday evening that Payton, who has severed this year as the assistant head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, who has yet to re-sign a contract. Has agreed to Raiders owner Al Davis, that he will become the Next Head Coach of the Raiders.

The contractual comments are expected to be about 4 years in length and worth anywhere from 1.3 million to 1.5 million dollars annually. Payton is expected to become the NFL�s youngest Head Coach.

Of all the candidates that were interviewed for the job Payton was the only one who called back about a second interview, to me nobody wanted this job and it is going to be a huge challenge for Payton.

In a move that shocked many poeple Payton will now remain as an assistant to the tuna in dallas and WILL NOT BE the next coach of the oakland raiders.

Thats harsh news to teh Raiders. Looks like they had found there man in Payton. But who will they go for next? My guess is Fassel

payton will look for a had coach job in a couple of years when he is more experienced until then he will continue to do a good job with the cowboys
