A series of events happened in NCAA basketball happened yesterday, some people might call it separation Saturday or upset Saturday, but in fact there were very little upsets, it was a weekend to remember.

Number 2 Duke held of Wake Forest for their 14th win of the season. J.J. Redick led his team with 23 points. But the story of the game was how Williams was able to lead his to a 84-72 victory, Williams had 16 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocked shots. Even though Duke dominated the series between Wake Forest in recent years (11-2), and even winning the previous six meetings by an average of 24 points a game. This game was hyped up, everybody wanted to see this game a Number 2 ranked team playing a Number 3 ranked team, but we all knew the Blue Devils were going to win.

The team that was number 1 in the land had lost on Saturday, but does that really mean that they will lose there number 1 ranking. Rashad McCants hit the biggest shot in his young career to send the Huskies packing and with there 2nd lose of the season. The Tar Heels (11-3) were coming into this game underdogs but after the game they left as winners of the game, The Tar Heels led most of the game but the Huskies were the number 1 team and fought back like number 1 teams do, but they could not hold off the power of the Heels.

But the real question is who should be the number 1 team. Yes Duke played an amazing game to beat Wake Forest, and yes the huskies did lose in a shocker. But there are still unbeaten teams in the land who arent getting the credit that they deserve. Saint Joes, Pitt, and Cincy are all teams that are still un-beaten and these teams look strong and would give the Blue Devils, the Huskies, and the Heels all a great fight. When the new polls come out on Monday it will probably be the Dukies as number 1 team but is that the right team to be number 1?

When the time comes on Monday morning when they are released Duke will be number 1 and then followed by the Huskies, Wake Forest could drop out of the top 10 and the Tar Heels will move into the Top 5 with that impressive win. But the un-defeated teams that you mentioned Ben will go nowhere in the standings.

St.Joesph got robbed of that number 1 title. Duke is a great time without a doubt but there are two unbeaten teams still.

Duke is number 1 for a reason and that is because they are a power house team, who is very hard to beat and wont be beaten at home. Can St. Joe's actually be able to beat Duke i dont think so

I think St. Joe's could do a great deal of damage to duke, granted they might not win every time but there is always a chance because those teams you dont hear to much about are the most deadliest

Both teams are good by Duke has some players that are able to lead their team during tough games because they do have more experienced players and they do have coach K.
