Spanish bombing

Just got back from France, Hope everyone's had a good holiday. Whilst I was watching the news on CNN 23.30hrs they briefly mentioned the car bomb at Madrid Airport, flicked over to BBC they must have spent 5 seconds stating an explosion in Madrid and never even mentioned the Airport. 45 minutes later the BBC never even mention the bomb incident but spent time on Saddam and Gerald Ford.
Knowing that the Media seems to rellish every terror attack event and spends days reporting it in great detail I found this very strange that the news coverage was practically none existant by the BBC or CNN any Idea's, was this a news cover up and if so why.

i saw a very small amount of coverage on cnn on the night of saddams execution, right when they released the video of him, oh it had to be around 2am here in california... guess cause they were trying to make you think the two might be connected
