11 Hours and 23 Minutes for Eastern Canada. (Atlantic Time Zone)

Anyone have any plans to ring in the New Year?

I'm attending a bit of a formal shin dig tonight. I've laid my shirt and tie out, got the shoes shined, and just waiting for the fire works!

Happy New Year!

Woot! Happy New Years to everyone from New Orleans! I'm having a lil shindig over at my place, since I have the balcony with a full view of the fireworks. It's great, like they're exploding right in front of you. Of course, we will be careful.

I think this thread makes up 33.3% of all threads on ATS that contain the word shindig. Just kind of rolls of the tongue doesn't it?

Just remember people, we expect pictures! nb, I'll be disappointed if we don't get to see one or two pictures of these fireworks you have mentioned.

10 Hours & 42 Minutes.

Edit: My curiosity led me to search for the term shindig with our Advanced Search button. To my surprise, it is quite popular. The percentage is much, much lower.

Little tidbit of useless knowledge for you all.

I couldn't get any really good shots for July 4th, but the video feature on my camera worked pretty well. I'll take a video of it, and host it on one of my domains after.

I like the word shindig.

i always thought a shindig was like when you busted your shin hardcore and like some meaty substance hangs out and it looks like it came from the bone!

happy new years to y'all

I gots a ways to go.

feel like bleh atm, hopefully I feel better, and then onto drinking and possibly passing out before 12, just to wake up and be like OHHHH... zzz...

I hope you're all feeling like crap, and if you're not then you didn't drink enough beer last night!

Finished celebrating at 2am, woke up at 5am, at work by 7am. And of course, I am feeling and looking wonderful! (Not.!)

Have a good one.
