At the risk of giving this thread or the YouTube page any more attention, I did a little digging. I would like to point out that the video we're
"discussing" is also associated with another YouTube video:
Angel Wings Found (YouTube)
(The "Girl with Wings in India" page on YouTube says "This is a video response to" the above linked video).
The above linked video is part of a (now revealed) viral teaser campaign for Diesel ("Diesel
") that also included this fake blog
It's not proof that the OP's video was a part of this campaign, but the OP's video does link to the above one for no other apparent reason. Also,
keep in mind that whoever uploaded the OP video has no other posting history before or since. Viral giveaway.
Skyway, I promised I wouldn't try to change your mind on this, but I did a little research on my end. Now, if you still believe that this is a real
video, maybe you could do a little research too:
This video is three months old on YouTube. Find me an article, anecdote, or any mention of this incident in India or this bat-winged girl. Anything
will do, even a crappy cryptozoological fantasy site. Don't you agree that someone else would be talking about this if it happened?
These people, if real, are the ones who shot this video. They're showing their faces and using each other's names in the clip. So... who are they?
Did they tell this story anywhere else? Why is it that the only entity they decided to report this to is... YouTube?
I'm not asking you to prove this video is real, because I know it's not... but I am alarmed at your lack of any critical thinking regarding the
origins or content of this clip.
