It's a different culture over there. Europe has no death penalty and in the United States it can take 20 years (or even never) for someone on death row to end their appeals process and finally be but to death. In the middle east muslim countries ... when the government says 'DEATH', they actually mean it. They move faster. It's THEIR way.
His body isn't going to be released to his daughter for a burial in Yemen like she wanted and officials decided to bury his body in a "secret location".
They are women and women don't usually get what they want over there. They aren't even included in the funeral/burial process like they are here in the West.
Saddam was buried next to his sons, in Tikrit. You can see pictures on the internet of his flag draped grave. It's no secret place.
