Well as Broughton has said, "They are trying every trick in the book."

According to the Stodghill [H&Gs lawyer]:

"Royal Bank of Scotland is registered to do business in the state of Texas; and, of course, New England Sports Ventures is U.S. based."

So that is basically the crux of their injunction.

Also being sued is Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton. And, says Stodghill, "We allege in the lawsuit he committed some of his tortuous acts in Texas in meetings with Mr. Hicks, so we're suing him in part based on conduct here that did har...m to Texas residents."

Horrible swines.

They seem to have forgotten that by going to the high court yesterday they automatically placed themselves under the jurisdiction of english courts.

They got a tame judge - hicks contributed to his election campaign via a middleman he sits on various boards with.

They haven't got a hope in hell.

Back in court today...


And their "Stunt" yesterday was branded unconscionable by the judge.

I mean honestly?

What are they doing?

I hope Gerry's dad arranges something to be done to these pricks

Yeah I'm not keen on Hodgson either.
But someone spending some money that we will probably have, is better than nobody spending no money that we don't have.


Our problems are far from over and perhaps the new owners will keep a close eye on Roy and maybe he wont last?

We'll see I guess.

Torres is going to have an awful season if he stays as isolated as he has been.

Far too much distance between the forward midfielders and the striker - that's why hodgson wants a target man, so the ball can be hoofed up to him, bypassing the midfield...

Hearing a rumour that the board (as it stands, because we don't have a CEO yet) are meeting with Hodgson this week and are "actively seeking a replacement".

To put things in context, since 1997, spread over 6 PL seasons, hodgson has won just 13 away games, out of 82...

We are Liverpool, and we should not be playing for draws away from home to teams like stoke, sunderland and wigan.

Probably wont be that close, especially if the Newcastles players feel like the Newcastle fans do at this point.

It's right for him to leave, I thought Sunday would see the day, but it's still no time for celebrating. We're still in a right mess. So far the season's left me sorta numbed to this turn of events

Hopefully Kenny will steer us away from the rocks in the near future.
