Why not? What's wrong with it? Personally, if someone's going to make a promise over a book, I'd rather it be one they believe in than one they don't really care one way or the other for.

you are in a large muslim country that also has a sizeble christian population.

you appear in court would you rather be swarn in by the bible or by the Quran?

hes a muslim and not a christain so if he used the bible to be sworn in it would mean jack all to him.
hence the quran it holds more value to him

just like the bible to christains
