Young Tottenham Hotspur striker Lee Barnard has been handed a new one-year deal at White Hart Lane.
The 20-year-old has proved prolific for the reserves over the course of the season, and also underwent loan spells at both Northampton and Leyton Orient as he sufficiently impressed boss Martin Jol.
Barnard is yet to make his full bow with the North London side, and faces a tough prospect in breaking into the first team with Robbie Keane, Mido, Jermain Defoe and Fredi Kanoute all ahead of him in the pecking order.
