Tottenham: Jol plays down Beckham talks

Tottenham boss Martin Jol has played down speculation linking David Beckham with a move to North London. The England skipper has recently cast doubts over his future in Spain after complaining of media intrusion and when coupled with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy's refusal to rule out the move, it would appear that a possible deal could be struck. However, Jol has now moved to pour cold water on such talk - concluding that a move for the Real Madrid star is not an immediate priority.
