Tottenham Hotspur forward Robbie Keane has rejected the notion that the North London side are destined for European qualification this season. Under
coach Martin Jol Spurs have risen to 9th in the league, although Keane is insistent that a Uefa Cup place is out of their reach after the club was
transformed by the summer arrival of sporting director Frank Arnesen. The Danish Supremo has revolutionised the personnel at White Hart Lane, bringing
in over 20 players, and the Republic of Ireland international believes that after such an upheaval it takes a while to form a cohesive unit. However
he is confident that the arrival of players such as Andy Reid, Pedro Mendes, and Mido, will establish Spurs as a regular continental side.
