Tottenham made their first signings of the transfer window by bringing youngsters Emil Hallfredsson and David Limbersky to the club.
The club had been waiting for the green light to complete both deals, which arrived with the opening of the window.
And Hallfredsson has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, having arrived from Icelandic champions FH Hafnarfjordur.
Limbersky has joined on an initial six-month loan deal from Czech Division Two side Viktoria Plzen.
Hallfredsson, a 20-year-old left-sided midfielder, has been a fixture in the Iceland Under-21 team this season and played in the UEFA Cup match
against Scottish side Dunfermline earlier in the campaign.
He joins for an undisclosed fee, while Tottenham have the option to make Limbersky a permanent signing in the summer.
