Manchester United: Pique in new contract

Manchester United youngster Gerard Pique has signed a new four-and-a-half year deal with the Premiership giants.

The teenage centre back celebrated his 18th birthday this week by penning a contract until June 2009 with the Old Trafford club.

The news comes after the young Spaniard initially joined The Red Devils for an undisclosed fee from Barcelona back in the summer.

if he turns out as well as fabregas has done for arsenal he will be a really good youngster
