Roy Carroll is facing D-day over whether to extend his stay at Manchester United.
Carroll's current deal expires at the end of the season and so far, Carroll has stalled over signing a new one.
The 27-year-old's advisors have been unsuccessful in their attempts to coax more money out of Red Devils chief executive David Gill, who insists the
offer currently on the table is the final one he is prepared to make.
United do not feel Carroll can realistically expect to receive a comparable salary elsewhere even though Arsenal are one of a number of clubs being
linked with the Northern Ireland international.
