in 36 games in european football for Man United.
In an interview after the game Sir Alex Ferguson mentioned the Dutch striker in the same breath as legends Alfredo Di Stefano, Johan Cruyff, Gerd Muller and Ferenc Puskas. Due to the scoring feats he has produced in European competition.
My question is does Van Nistelrooy deserve to be bracketed with the great European strikers of the past?
