Striker Jon Macken has left Manchester City to join Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old, who signed for City for 5m in 2002, decided to continue his career elsewhere after being told he had no future at Eastlands.

hehe... yer this was when Keegan was wasting man city's money left right and centre.

i dont think they would even get half that ammount back, i wonder if this means this guys replacing AJ? or is it to make sure they go straight back up

Yea, they paid alot of money for him and he failed to live up to any sort of expectations. I guess he will be good enough for the championship league but no way could he be considered a replacement for AJ...
