Manchester City are believed to be weighing up a move for Bordeaux midfielder Camel Meriem.
Citizens boss Kevin Keegan is still keen to bolster his squad with the transfer window due to close at the end of the month.
Keegan is thought to be a big admirer of the skilful midfielder and would like to bring him to The City of Manchester Stadium.
Meriem impressed a number of suitors last season after an impressive campaign on loan at Marseille.
Marseille tried to sign Meriem on a permanent basis, but Bordeaux refused to sell the talented playmaker.
