Liverpool: Aimar to Liverpool?

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has made Valencia playmaker Pablo Aimar his main target this summer. The Argentine midfielder, valued at 10million, has a good relationship with Benitez - the man who brought him to Europe when he was coach of Valencia - and Aimar would relish a chance in the Premiership.

benitez is saying to expect changes and with smicer leaving, i think they need to add to the creativint department in midfield

He would be awesome in the Prem and if Liverpool manage to sign him then they are definatly going in the right direction.

The whispers I have heard are that although a great player, he's too similiar to Louis Garcia, plus also that he might be too lightweight for the Premiership for the price we'd likely have to pay.

Me personally I'd love to have the guy, bags of skill that can change a game.
