There are some excellent choices there, very good!

Ok i have come up with a few names to go in my side. Funny thought that not many players from the last few years made it in, most are from the Shankly, Paislet era and the great sides in the 70's and 80's.. I havn't picked them from positions just who i think might make a squad list...

Ron Yates
Billy Liddell
Roger Hunt
Terry McDermott
Emlyn Hughes
Kenny Dalglish
Ian Rush
Steven Gerrard
Micheal Owen
Ray and Alan Kennedy
Graeme Souness
John Toshack
Kevin Keegan
John Barnes
Ray Clemence
Alan Hansen
Peter Beardsley
Ian St John
Steve McMahon

Just achievements for one season - Gary McAllister

I guess a few that you could add Hyppia, Aldridge, Fowler, Mark Lawrenson, Phil Neal and loads of others i can't think of right now...

Unforunately I can only go on my relatively youngish experience of Liverpool. You are absolutely right in mentioning other greats though, for they made Liverpool what she has become(??) today.

I might also add some Heskey and Berger, and definately Aldridge.

We have been talking about Berger in another thread. I think he never really got his chance at Liverpool, not a bad player at all. Maybe not one of the Liverpool greats but a decent player all the same. And although Heskey didn't really shined for England i think he did well at club level and for Liverpool, alot of people will knock him but he is ok...

Very true. Berger has probably not the consistency factor to make him a great. If he could have maintained his peak, though, he would have been world-class; certainly the potential was there and perhaps a role as DreamTeam Sub?

Heskey was definately lush. Many a time there have been players who could not reproduce Liverpool magic for their country, and some might say thats exactly what makes them Liverpool!:tum:
