Liverpool: Liverpool youngsters get new contracts

2 of anfields youngster players have penned new deals

Liverpool have handed new contracts to youngsters David Raven and Zak Whitbread.

The pair are graduates of Liverpool's youth system and have come to the fore this season.

Both Whitbread and Raven have yet to make their Premiership debuts, but they have been given their chance in the Carling Cup and they have helped The Reds reach the last four.

its good to see after benitez brung in a few spannish players in the summer that youth players are also starting to get the chance to sign.

these 2 got contracts and the other guy, mellor is getting games alot
