Liverpool: Morgan fails in new Reds bid

Liverpool businessman Steve Morgan claims he has failed in a new takeover of the Anfield outfit.

The building magnate has held a long-term interest in becoming more involved in the running of the club and failed in an investment bid in May.

Morgan claims he had made a second attempt for a share package of The Premiership giants, only for it to be rejected again.
