Liverpool are reportedly aiming to include Malaga defender Alexis in the deal which will send El Hadji Diouf to La Liga.

Diouf has been in talks with Malaga regarding a season-long loan switch after being told he can leave Anfield.

The Senegal international is expected to complete his switch next week, but The Reds are rumoured to want Alexis in exchange.

Reports in Spain suggest Reds boss Rafa Benitez wants to take Alexis on loan for the campaign with a view to a permanent move.

In return for allowing Diouf to join Malaga, Liverpool would also pay half the African's wages to ensure they take Alexis to Merseyside.

This would be amazing for Liverpool. They don't need a self righteous F*** like Diouf falling down every time he gets possession. Diouf is the reason the FA imposed a ban on players that overeact when falling down. Especially with that trademark slow motion acting when he fell down in that world cup 2002 game.

This would be a very good deal as you say. Diouf has been a flop and i bet they will be glad to get rid of him.
