Fulham manager Chris Coleman expects to tie up the signing of Manchester City defender Ben Thatcher this week.
The Wales international is heading for Craven Cottage after a deal was agreed between the two clubs.
"We bought Carlos Bocanegra as a centre back and he's done a good job at left back," explained Coleman.
Fulham have completed the signing of Manchester City defender Ben Thatcher in a three-and-a-half year deal.
The tough tackling Welshman has moved to Fulham after failing to settle in Manchester since his summer switch from Tottenham.
After being burgled twice since his arrival in Manchester, Thatcher's wife returned to the South - thus making it difficult for the player to remain at the club.
