Personal stealth capabilities - optical camouflage, page 1

Most of us on here have seen the "invisibility" suit (optical camouflage). If not you can see it here

Since the optical camouflage definitely exists, and the technology that the public is aware of is 15 to 20 years behind what technology is available to those with enough capital, we can assume that optical camouflage technology as of today is fantastic.

If the person wearing the suit were to stay still, there would be no way to tell they were there. If the technology is there, there may be little or no lag as the person moves as well. If there is, there may be a 'predator' type movement going on.

My question is this:

Wouldn't the person in the suit still produce a shadow since they are displacing light?

I say this because many people report seeing 'free moving' shadows that can't be traced back to a source. I thought of this last night for no apparent reason. I guess I’m bored
