Everton have confirmed that they have opened talks with Chelsea over Scott Parker.
The Toffees have been constantly linked with the England international over the past few weeks and now chief executive Keith Wyness has admitted talks are in progress.
"We have been in discussions," said Wyness.
Parker looks set to depart Stamford Bridge after failing to secure a regular first team berth following his £10 million move from Charlton in January 2004

Parker has been the subject of an enquiry from Everton, with The Toffees reportedly willing to pay £6 million for the England cap.
