When the nation is on a war-footing, it is not unexpected for the expectation of certain liberties to be diminished temporarily.
Considering the way both society and technology has been evolving, the question is will we regain the necessary losses after the war, and will the public even be concerned?

Exactly. And besides, if you don't have anything to hide, why should you be concerned?

in times of war the constitution and our rights loose power for our "protection"
we don't really have all of our rights in times of war especially the media under the first amendment/ freedom of speech

so do we really have constant rights?
and did you know that there are alot of news stations that work for the goverment and so in some cases they just put out what the goverment wants to be put out

Thats fine with me. It's not like they can get into EVERYONE'S sh!t anyway. I mean for every super-programer/decryption specialist the gov't has working for them creating programs to sift through people's personal sh!t, there is an even better programer/crypto that does NOT work for them and is creating software/encryption to HIDE people's personal sh!t !!!!! It all balances out in the end.
