Everton: Pistone wants to stay

Alessandro Pistone is still hoping to extend his contract with Everton past the end of the current season.

The Italian defender has the right to leave on a free transfer come June, although David Moyes's side are yet to enter into talks with the player.

Pistone has attracted criticism in the past for his performances, but has been a stalwart of the side that is chasing a UEFA Champions League spot this season.

moyes has got him playing really well, when he was at newcastle, he was dreadfull..

but at everton, he has been much more consistent and this season, he is hepling the club to there best season in many years
