Everton: Everton track Norwegian

Everton are continuing their pursuit of new talent by casting an eye over Viking's rising talent Brede Hangeland.

The Toffees, who have made a blistering start to The Premiership campaign, are keen to strengthen for the future with David Weir and Alan Stubbs at the back end of their careers.

23-year-old Hangeland is flattered by Everton's interest, but is reluctant to comment further until the club firm up their interest in him.
