Everton: Real Madrid show interest in Rooney

Real Madrid are reported to be planning a shock raid on Everton for star striker Wayne Rooney. Reports emanating from Spain suggest that Real are lining up a lucrative offer to try and tempt Everton into selling Rooney.

Rooney's future at Goodison Park remains uncertain as he has still to sign the new deal on offer to him from Everton.

Spanish radio are claiming that Real are now waiting in the wings to see if Rooney signs his new deal and are ready to offer him the chance to move to El Santiago Bernabeu.

He'd be better off in England I think. Just the way he plays suits the premiership much better.

I think he is too young to make a move to somewhere like Real Madrid. He should either stay where he is or go to one of the premier leagues bigger clubs.
