Chelsea: Paulo Ferreira out!

Chelsea have confirmed that defender Paulo Ferreira has broken a bone in his foot. The Portuguese star limped out of his country's midweek clash with Slovakia - amid rumours he had broken something. The Blues have now admitted an operation is required to repair the damage.

he had a bad euro 2004 and people thought, hey, is mourinho wasting alot of money on him cos there a portugal guy called michel getting his place in the national team then.

he went on to prove he was good at chelsea. i guess this will give glen johnson a chance in the team
