Wayne Bridge has vowed to fight for his future at Chelsea following reports linking the club with a move for Arsenal star Ashley Cole. Stamford Bridge
boss Jose Mourinho recently admitted he will be looking to sign a left-back in the summer and the Blues are being investigated over an alleged illegal
approach for Cole.
The speculation has led Chelsea skipper John Terry to publicly back his teammate, saying: "Bridgey is a first-class player, one of the best left-backs
in the world so why do we need to go out and do that?" And former Southampton defender Bridge insists he is determined not to let any new arrival walk
straight into the first team.
