Chelsea: Ballack in chelsea link

Bayern Munich have admitted they cannot compete with Roman Abramovich's finances, after their star midfield Michael Ballack was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Ballack is one of a number of big-names reported to be under consideration of Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho.

The 28-year-old German international has just 18 months left on his current deal and Bayern are reportedly struggling to offer him the financial terms he wants.

ballack was quoted saying that, hes spent his whole career in germany, i think he would fancy a move to chelsea but i dunno, would chelsea want him. they have lampard who is just as good

I don't thimk they need him, another player who is inconsistant. But our game would suit his style of play really well. If he did move and could be consistant i think he would be a massive hit for sure. Lampard in recent games has lacked a bit and it would be great competition for that posistion.
