Jose Mourinho has admitted Arjen Robben's ankle injury is causing him some concern.

The flying Dutchman limped out of Chelsea's win at Blackburn in midweek after a crunching tackle from Aaron Mokoena.

Robben left Ewood Park on crutches, although the club's medical team suggested he had suffered only severe bruising.

the player is worried he could miss season

Arjen Robben fears he has broken his foot and will have to sit out the rest of Chelsea's campaign.

The Dutch winger, who has made a massive impact during his first season in England, limped off early on in The Blues' 1-0 win at Blackburn Rovers last Wednesday following a strong challenge from Aaron Mokoena.

Robben is still to discover the full extent of his problem, as his foot is currently too swollen to assess the damage he has sustained.

yip, when he was in the team, thats when they won every game they would play. now thats hes out, they dropped points against man city.

they have a good enough team without him, though. when him and duff dont play. they aint that wide, maybe another winger will be added in the summer for competitoin

Chelsea wide man Arjen Robben faces six weeks on the sidelines with a broken foot after scans were finally able to be conducted.

The club's medical staff had been waiting for swelling on the player's foot to go down before they could ascertain the full extent of the knock.

The pacey Dutchman has broken two bones in his foot and faces at least six weeks in the stands, providing the injuries heal as anticipated.

i dunno about drogba, earlier on the season he was injured maybe similar injury.

though, am sure in the paper, there was a story he got kicked where it hurts
in training, and the club doctor said dont play him. it must have been a bad accident

if robben does come back in 6 weeks, thats just about when chelsea should have the league cemmented

They may have it wrapped up before then.

It looks like the medical bloke has gone from Chelsea after a bust up to do with Robben...

is that being reported TRD about the medical coach?

yer, i think its possible they might have it won by then, but if its not, when robben is expected back will be really reinforcing there chances of winning it

Eidur Gudjohnsen has hit back at those who have labelled Chelsea a one man team in Arjen Robben's absence.

The Premiership leaders failed to break down a stubborn Manchester City backline at the weekend and the absence of Robben's explosive pace did seem to hinder their efforts.

A fractured foot has rendered Robben redundant for at least the next six weeks but his Icelandic team-mate insists Chelsea will continue to prosper without him.

They struggled yesterday without him and just managed to get th ewin. against the lower rated sides they should do ok, but they will miss him for sure against the top teams.

i think yesterdays game was a big tester, everton are doing really well and are hard to beat, they got the point.

and they only need to do it so many times till the league is won.

i still think they will sign another wide player in the summer

Arjen Robben is devastated that he will miss crucial games in Chelsea's bid on four fronts due to injury.

Although playing a crucial role for Jose Mourinho in a superb season so far, the winger is currently sidelined for six weeks due to a broken foot sustained against Blackburn.

Robben has a burning desire to win silverware with the West London side, and has been frustrated by this latest blow after missing the first two months of the season through injury as well.

Chelsea star Arjen Robben has taken the first steps on the road to recovery by dispensing with his crutches.

The Dutch flyer was ruled out for two months after breaking bones in a foot during the win over Blackburn earlier in February.

Robben was told to use crutches in a bid to ease pressure on his injured foot, but he attended training on Friday without the assistance of his walking aids.
