Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has confirmed his club's summer spending spree is over.
New Blues boss Jose Mourinho has splashed out nearly £90m on seven new players this summer.
But Kenyon says Mourinho now has the squad he wants and expects to challenge Arsenal for the title when the Premiership season kicks off next week.
Kenyon said: "The cheque-book is closed primarily because the manager wants a squad of 23 or 24 and that's what we've got.
