Charlton winger Jerome Thomas has signed a new three-year contract at The Valley.
Addicks boss Alan Curbishley has been impressed with Thomas' recent displays after he broke into the first team in October.
Thomas arrived at The Valley in a £100,000 deal from Arsenal in January, but he has taken his time to make an impact.
After impressing in recent games, including a fine display in the win at Tottenham, Thomas has now been handed an extended contract.
"Jerome has really grabbed his chance since he came into the first team," Curbishley told the club's website.
"He has worked hard and done really well, and he fully deserves the reward of a contract extension. I hope he will continue to perform as he has done
The 21-year-old now has a deal with Charlton until 2007 and he says he is very happy with the way he has improved at the club.
