Bolton Wanderers: Jaidi wins arab award

Bolton Wanderers star Radhi Jaidi has been named as the Best Arab Footballer of the Year.

Jaidi's impressive season for Bolton, as well as his continued commitment to the Tunisian national side have earned him the nod.

The award crowns a wonderful year for the Tunisia captain, who has scored crucial goals for Bolton and was selected for Fifa and Uefa's tsunami benefit match along with the best players in the world.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has insisted that Radhi Jaidi will not be offloaded this summer - insisting that the Tunisian defender is crucial to the progression of the club.

Jadhi has grown frustrated at kicking his heels on the substitutes' bench in the second half of the season, but Allardyce insists that he is not looking to sell the powerful defender.

"There were buyers for Jaidi but I couldn't move him on anywhere," said Allardyce.
