Blackburn Rovers: Rovers take Ahn on trial

Metz's South Korea international striker Ahn Jung-hwan is set to join Blackburn Rovers on trial.

The 30-year-old only joined Metz in July, but already finds himself surplus to requirement following the signing of Souleymane Youla. The French club are prepared to let him leave on a free transfer and with Rovers boss Mark Hughes in the market for a new striker following the departure of Matt Jansen, he is likely to be offered a short-term deal if he impresses during the trial.
