Blackburn defender Lorenzo Amoruso has admitted he is seeking a move away from Ewood Park. Amoruso has struggled with injuries at Ewood Park since his
switch from Rangers last summer. The giant Italian is now back to full fitness, but he has been unable to win his place back in Mark Hughes' plans.
Amoruso is frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities and he has admitted he would love to follow Barry Ferguson in returning to Rangers if
the opportunity arose.
Rangers manager Alex McLeish has made it clear he will not grant Lorenzo Amoruso his wish to return to Ibrox. The Italian is in limbo at Blackburn
under Mark Hughes and longs for the days when he was a big name player at Ibrox.
But at nearly 34, there is no way back for the defender as McLeish has recruited Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Marvin Andrews as his first-choice central
pairing with Zurab Khizanishvili and Bob Malcolm as back-up.
