Aston Villa have been dealt another injury blow with the news that Juan Pablo Angel has twisted his ankle in training.

The Colombian hit-man sustained the injury on Thursday, and an accurate assessment of the damage will not be able to be carried out until the swelling subsides.

With the £9.5 million man sidelined, boss David O'Leary faces a severe striker selection headache as Carlton Cole is not expected to play again this season whilst Darius Vassell has only just recovered from a long term injury himself.

yer, and cole is injured too. no luck for him. vassell has just returned. i think angel has been getting better for villa, dunno what his goal scoring rate is this season lol

from what i just checked, in 25 starts in all competitions, he has banged 7 goals, 2 of them where in the cup so it might have been against crap opposition
