Arsenal: Ljungberg wants new deal

Freddie Ljungberg has revealed his determination to extend his career at Arsenal - and finally make the breakthrough in the Champions League. Ljungberg's current deal runs out at the end of next season and speculation has already begun that Arsenal may cash in on the Sweden international this summer to raise transfer funds. However, Ljungberg revealed talks had already started with the club over a contract extension and he is hopeful an agreement can be reached.

i think he will get a new contract. hes one of arsenal's best players and i think he enjoys it there and everything.

though, i dont think they will progress much further in europe

There was talks that he was going at one stage. He does seem to be one of the better players this season without a doubt. It looks like they are getting close to sorting out a new deal.
