Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has denied blaming The Gunner's UEFA Champions League exit on their failure to invest in new players last summer.
Henry commented that Arsenal had invested less on squad reinforcements than Tottenham or Birmingham but refuted the suggestion that this was intended as criticism of the board.
"I never said we need to spend big or blamed anyone for the Champions League exit," said Henry.
