Our SETI team needs more people

We have a few thousand members on ATS but only 171 members on the team.
Some which have not had results in months.
We are not that far behind ranking in the top 200 for clubs.
Okay, maybe we are that far behind
With the help of some more members we can move up fast as hell.
We only need 180,402 results to catch up....lol

I have been trying to get going on this for sometime. Sadly I have been unable to configure the proxy settings succesfully...I am waiting on reply for my specific type of proxy set up-

I joined this before my computer crashed.
Honestly I didnt know what the hell was going on.

I had trouble with mine too. I just tinkered with it untill I figured it out. Are you just running the regular seti@home client?

Ya never know.

I hear ya on the bragging rights, even better bragging rights if we did find a signal

they send out the same work unit to multiple computers to make sure its not a #up on a single cpu. so it probably wouldnt be just us who found it. but we can hope.

I completly forgot about Seti, I switched OS's and forgot to reinstall it, I just turned it back on.

I'm using the Seti@home Keeper 2.1 and it works well.
I'm running seven WU's at a time with an average of three hours per batch.
It's way faster than the normal client.
Any more than seven WU's at a time laggs my puter.

*Set up the client (instructions should come with the download)
*Then sign up with ATS seti team.

If it does not run right, let us know, someone here should be able to help you with it.

I also use the SetiSpy to view returned results and get stats.
You can find SetiSpy and other programs on the seti home page under "Add ons"

Let us know if you need any help!

seti keeper is only for #ing 2000 and xp. # 2k. # xp. 98se serves me. i guess i have to wait for the 98 version :-/ how queer.
