Jose Antonio Reyes has been charged with violent conduct by The Football Association following a scuffle during Arsenal's FA Cup tie with Sheffield United on Saturday.

Dennis Bergkamp was sent off by referee Neale Barry for a shove on Danny Cullip, but television replays showed that Reyes had aimed a slap at the United stopper.

Arsenal have already appealed against Bergkamp's dismissal and Reyes now has until 6pm on Tuesday to contest this charge of violent conduct.
