New Portsmouth boss Alain Perrin insists he wants to keep Patrik Berger, amidst speculation that he is ready to sign for Aston Villa. The talented Czech schemer is out of contract in the summer and has been strongly linked with a move to Villa Park.
Berger, 31-years-old, is a firm favourite with the Fratton Park faithful but was dropped to the bench against Birmingham on Saturday. However, Perrin is adamant that he wants to keep the former Liverpool midfielder beyond the end of the current campaign.
