Portsmouth captain Arjan De Zeeuw has targeted next Monday's visit of Tottenham for his comeback - just 37 days after tearing a medial knee ligament.

The tough Dutchman was injured after just 12 minutes of the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace last month but has responded to intensive treatment and could now complete a double boost for manager Harry Redknapp.

Central defensive partner Dejan Stefanovic, who has been suffering from a thigh injury, has also said he is determined to return against Spurs, although physio Gary Sadler believes the Serbian is a little optimistic, considering he has missed just one match.

But de Zeeuw, who has been sidelined for the last four games, said of his own progress: "It is coming on well, and I'm targeting Tottenham.
