Middlesbrough: Schwarzer pens new deal

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has finally inked his new contract.

The 32-year-old agreed terms last month and has now put pen-to-paper on his three-year extension.

"I'm delighted to announce that I have signed a three-year extension to my current contract," he told his own website.

They did well to sign him as there was a few clubs interested in him. Decent keeper and will continue to do a good job at Boro..

hes been a really good keeper for them, and i think it was man utd and the gunners who have been linked to him recently.

its a sign of amibiton for the club getting him to stay, as he would have most likely had a good offers from other clubs if he wanted to go
