Middlesbrough are reportedly keen on landing Juventus stopper Igor Tudor. The Croatian star was linked with a number of English clubs during the
transfer window after Juve agreed to let him leave. However, the Italians appeared to change their mind last week when general manager Luciano Moggi
said they could not afford to let him go, but Boro are now hoping that they can persuade their Serie A counterparts to let Tudor leave. Boro have
failed to land Celtic's Bobo Balde and manager Steve McClaren has already revealed his determination to bring in a new central defender - with Ugo
Ehiogu and Chris Riggott sidelined.
