Giuseppe Papadopulo is quitting as coach of Lazio after failing to reach an accord for a new contract. Papadopulo had been in charge at Stadio
Olimpico since the midway point in the season after replacing Mimmo Caso at the helm.
He managed to steer the club to Serie A safety but his achievement has not earned him much kudos with Lazio supremo Claudio Lotito. Earlier this week,
Papadopulo revealed he had hoped to remain in charge of the Biancocelesti next season.
But he will leave the club when his current contract expires on June 30 after breaking off talks regarding an extension.
