Will he come back and be injury free? and will he fit into the team?

The specialist treating Jonathan Woodgate has predicted that the Real Madrid stopper will be back in top-level action within three months.

The injury-prone defender has yet to make a competitive appearance for Real since his big-money move from Newcastle last summer.

He has been sidelined by a persistent thigh complaint which he originally sustained in a league game against Chelsea almost exactly 12 months ago.

What a signing! All that money and not one ball kicked in a Madrid shirt! I still think he could end up leaving without actually playing a match for them.
