European: Knives, clubs confiscated at Football match!

Knives, clubs and a banner were confiscated from fans entering AS Roma's game against Reggina on Saturday, the first high-profile match since Italy adopted tougher steps to curb soccer violence.

Two fans had knives confiscated, and a banner supporting hard-core fans -- or "ultras" -- was taken by police, the ANSA news agency reported. A police helicopter patrolled the stadium.

woah! i aint too sure about roma but the teams over there, alot of those teams do have sections for the ultra's. lazio beingh the most famous for it properlly.

its good to see they have stuck to there word and tightened security, in this incident the stoped knives and stuff so its good it worked

Looks like it is getting worse, like i said it would ages ago. Funny now it seems like its the European teams and not the English. They might have just finally got it that 95% of the time its not us.
